Homeschool Day on the Farm offers a structured educational visit for families who learn at home. This fall experience takes place on a working family farm in Whitley County, Kentucky. Students explore animal care, farm operations, and food production through guided stations and hands on learning.
Activities include meeting pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, and donkeys. Lessons focus on where food comes from, how animals are raised, and how a farm operates through the seasons. Time includes movement between learning stations, group instruction, and observation of daily farm routines.
Designed for multiple age ranges, this experience supports science, agriculture, and life skills education in a real farm environment.
